Managing the interpreters

When using Simultaneous Interpretation (SI) or SI + AI Recognized Subtitles you (or your client) can:

  1. invite its own interpreters
  2. book interpreters from our Translation Agency partners
  3. book interpreters directly from Akkadu by contacting us at contact@akkadu-team.com

1. Inviting own interpreters

  • Interpreters will have to register and create an interpreter account at www.akkadu.com.
  • After registering, you will be able to assign the interpreters to the right event using the dashboard or the REST API.

2. Booking interpreters from our Translation Agency partners

  • You can reach out to any of our global Translation Agency partners to get a quotation and book interpreters.
  • After booking, our partners will provide to you the interpreters' email.
  • With their email you can assign the interpreters to the right event using the dashboard or the REST API.

3. Booking interpreters from Akkadu

  • Send us your request at contact@akkadu-team.com
  • After confirmation we will provide to you the interpreters' email.
  • With their email you can assign the interpreters to the right event using the dashboard or the REST API.

Where will the interpreters interpret?

After assigning the interpreters to your event (using the dashboard or the REST API), interpreters will be able to see the event in their dashboard at www.akkadu.com and access to the interpretation page of the event.

How can the interpreters see the event?

When creating an event using the dashboard or the REST API, you need to provide the original stream of your event. This stream will be shown to the interpreters in the Akkadu interpreter page:

  • Youtube URL
  • Vimeo URL
  • iframe
  • flv
